The 3rd Oswestry Festival of the Word was launched on Wednesday with an absolutely stella line-up of writes and performers expected to grace a selection of Oswestry’s venues across a whole eleven days!!

So, from the 10-20 March, you can take you pick of events at very, very reasonable prices.

Welcome to the Oswestry Tourism website.  Over the coming months, we aim to build this into a fabulous resource for visitors to Oswestry whether that be for pleasure, for business, for seeing friends or a myriad other reasons.

This is a rich and unique border market town which has quietly gone about its business for many years.  Well, over those years, all kinds of cultural seeds have been planted which have now grown into timorous beasties.

We’re going to introduce you to all these quirky, curious and fascinating aspects of Oswestry along the way.
